A Postpartum Doula is trained and skilled in newborn care, providing support and education for the family after childbirth. Our Postpartum Doulas are trained through the Childbirth and Professional Postpartum Association (CAPPA) or DONA International. Their main focus is the care of the mother, then the baby(s), the family and finally the home. 

Postpartum Doulas will provide lactation support, circumcision and cord care, infant care, emotional support and light housekeeping duties. This can include preparation of meals, laundry, running errands and care for the infant(s).

A Postpartum Doula works a minimum of 4-hour shifts during the daytime. They have flexible hours and days to meet each families needs.
