Piper L

I have lived in the Denver metro area all of my life. I have had hands on experience with babies and young children since I was 13 as a baby sitter. As an adult I have cared for babies since 2007.  I started working with children in a daycare setting for a year gaining knowledge of all age groups. Over the past 6 years I have worked as a nanny for nine different families, four of which I did night work with. While in school I was pursuing a degree as a nurse midwife.  Some of my training includes the Night Nanny Sleep Training course, breast feeding and infant care courses.  I am also trained as a Labor/ Delivery Doula and Certified Nurse Aide. In addition, I am Infant CPR and First aid certified.  I have worked with a wide range of babies including reflux, colic, and special medical needs. Also I’m semi-fluent in infant/ toddler sign language. I chose this profession because I truly love taking care of infants/ children and their families through transitional periods in life. I look forward to helping many families during this new stage of life!!
