Hello, I work with Night Nannies for Newborns so that I can bring an income to my family while having the time to work on successfully raising my four children by day and still getting to work with babies. I enjoy being a mom and love the time this career gives me with my family. My favorite stage is the newborn stage. It lasts for such a short time and I like to make the most of every minute of it. My husband has even said that if I could, I would probably raise our kids to just out of the newborn stage and trade them for newborns again. Well, not quite, i get my "baby fix" by giving TLC to the precious little ones that I get to work with. I started in childcare while I was still a child myself. I have over 30 neices and nephews that I have helped take care of. I also helped my mother with her in home daycare. In the summers of my youth I would babysit evenings and would nanny during the day. Since then I have taken just about every class that Arapahoe Community College offers in child developmetn and child psychology. I have attended love and logic seminars, CPR classes, behavior classes, behavior classes and continue to read up and attend classes as time permits. I have been a professional nanny for over 9 years. I have cared for children that were labeled premature, low birth weight, autistic, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, twins and more.
