I am Geneva, mom to Malachi and Andreas, and wife to Nate. I have a passion for birth and babies and for helping moms and families have a wonderful birth and parenting experience. I am a calm and loving person who loves to help others. I pride myself on being knowledgable and able to teach about the childbearing year and all that it entails. I hope to bring peace and confidence to each family that I work with, enabling them to become the best parents that they can be! As a night nanny, I have worked in many different situations, from first time parents to fourth, singletons to triplets, preemies to one year olds, single parents, high needs infants, and just about everything in between. I have been working with babies and children in various capacities since I was 12 years old. I am a certified childbirth educator, birth and postpartum doula. I work at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center, North Suburban Medical Center, and Swedish Medical Center teaching a variety of childbirth and parenting class. I have a BA from the University of Colorado and Certifications through Lamaze International and DONA International. I am currently in classes working towards becoming a Certified Professional Midwife. I am also the Vice President of the Childbirth and Parenting Association of CO (CPAC) and on the mentoring committee of the Colorado Doula Association. I homeschool my kids and love spending time with them. A few favorite activities include visiting the zoo, biking, picnics, swimming, and the library.
