I became immersed in the world of birth, prenatal and postpartum care during my time working for a birth and family wellness and education center in California. During my time at the center, I advised expectant families about birth preparation classes as well as the benefits of pre/postnatal fitness and massage. I also helped connect families with doula and midwife support as well as postpartum care in the form of new mom and breastfeeding support groups.

My passion for helping families on their journey through birth and parenting continued
to grow, and after I relocated to Colorado in 2013, I decided to become a postpartum
doula. I love watching families grow and evolve, and it makes my heart happy to give
support, love and compassion to sweet babies and their incredible families. I believe
that caring for babies and their parents is truly the greatest job on earth!

I received my postpartum doula training through the Childbirth & Postpartum
Professional Association (CAPPA). In addition to my doula work, I also teach a
workshop in infant bonding and attachment for parents who are waiting to adopt. My
wonderfully supportive husband and I are parents to a silly, energetic, 5-year-old son.
We love introducing him to all things outdoors. I am a huge animal lover and a pet
mom to 2 dogs and a sweet kitty. I’m also an adoptive mom, an LGBTQ ally, and
support ALL families!
